Norwegian hard rockers WIG WAM released their new album entitled "Wall Street", on May 18 in Europe and May 22 in North America via Frontiers Records. "Wall Street" features WIG WAM's "classic blend of melodies and catchy choruses, blowing your speakers with full-blown rock 'n' roll anthems!"

"Our only mission is to rock the world!" says WIG WAM singer Glam. "And 'Wall Street' sure is more entertaining than the stock market these days. One thing that will shock the world on this album is that it's containing no fillers. Every song has its unique universe, the band sounds better than ever and the songs offer everything from the taste of heavy metal to classic WIG WAM glam rock."

The song "Wall Street" is the story of a musician who trades his guitar for a company brand to make his fortune in the stock market. According to a press release, "It's got the recipe of a great WIG WAM 'smash hit' and is everything you expect from these guys!"

Adds Glam: "Unlike our previous release, 'Non Stop Rock 'N' Roll', when we headed out on tour at the very release date, we will let our audience get to know our new songs before we head out on tour this time. But there will definitely be a 'Wall Street' tour coming up."

Finnish melodic metallers SONATA ARCTICA released their new album entitled "Stones Grow Her Name", on May 18th via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded in several studios all over Finland, mixed at Sonic Pump Studios by Mikko Karmila and mastered at Chartmakers by Svante Forsbäck. The effort will be released as a limited-edition digipak, standard jewel case, vinyl and download.

A two-and-a-half-minute teaser for "Stones Grow Her Name" is available below.

Gunnar Sauermann, a writer for the German edition of Metal Hammer magazine, was one of the first media people to hear a rough-mix version of "Stones Grow Her Name" at this past weekend's Finnish Metal Expo in Helsinki. He comments, "SONATA ARCTICA was never more exciting and more versatile as on 'Stones Grow Her Name'. Every single song is a hit!"
