LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY released its long-awaited second full-length album entitled "Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus", on June 19th, 2015 in Europe and June 30th, 2015 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was composed and produced once again by Luca Turilli, responsible as always of all the orchestral and choral arrangements. It was recorded and mixed at the Backyard Studios of Sebastian Roeder (BONFIRE) and mastered by Christoph Stickel (MICHAEL SCHENKER'S TEMPLE OF ROCK) at MSM studios.

The creation of "Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus" involved seven months of composition, three months of production, over 50 days of mixing, working with two choirs, several special guests, including Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR), Dan Lucas (KARO), David Readman (PINK CREAM 69) and last but not least Bridget Fogle (EPICA) and Previn Moore (AFTER FOREVER, EPICA).

Containing 70 minutes of epic music, sounding cinematic, bombastic and dramatic as never before, the new RHAPSODY masterwork will lead the listener to an emotional and memorable journey between quantum gates, parallel dimensions, myths and legends hiding cosmic truths, ancestral secrets and spiritual revelations.

And this time it was not enough for the band to simply sound cinematic — RHAPSODY needed to finally "look" cinematic as well. Therefore, the new cover artwork and the album booklet, introducing the new cinematic graphic style of the band, were created by the well-known artist Stefan "Heile" Heilemann (EPICA, LINDEMANN).

The first single, "Rosenkreuz (The Rose And The Cross)", will be released on April 24.

The digipak version of the album will include a cinematic version of the RIOT classic "Thundersteel", performed by RHAPSODY singer Alessandro Conti as a duet with Ralf Scheepers.

In August 2011, RHAPSODY OF FIRE guitarist Luca Turilli and keyboardist Alex Staropoli announced their decision to go their separate ways.

Due to legal reasons, Staropoli will continue under the RHAPSODY OF FIRE name. Turilli, on the other hand, will make his future efforts available under the RHAPSODY moniker (RHAPSODY OF FIRE's original name), in which he will be joined by guitarist Dominique Leurquin, bassist Patrice Guers, and drummer Alex Holzwarth. A singer for the group has has yet to be announced.

LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY will release a new album entitled "Ascending To Infinity" on June 22nd via Nuclear Blast.

Commented the band: "We all know that many of you were waiting for the news about our new singer and it is true that his name was supposed to be revealed right today. But as the mix of the album already started and the result of his artistic performance on 'Ascending To Infinity' is simply brilliant, then we decided to not present our singer by simply revealing his name. Instead, with the next news of Tuesday, March 27, we'll present him in the best way possible, the one we know you surely prefer. This means that on that day you will have the possibility to discover him and his talent listening to some excerpts from our new album, exclusively from our new band's web site, www.ltrhapsody.com."

The album will have a running time of around 65 minutes.

The limited-edition version of "Ascending To Infinity" will include two bonus tracks for 75 minutes of music, plus "many exclusive gifts," to be revealed very soon.

LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY will embark on the "Ascending To Infinity" headlining tour in the fall.

Italian "cinematic" metal band LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY has made its new single, "Dark Fate Of Atlantis", available for free download in its original album version of six minutes and 29 seconds at this location. This complete version of the song features a longer intro, a longer guitar solo and an additional keyboard solo performed by Luca Turilli. The cover artwork of the single was created once again by Felipe Machado Franco.

The "Dark Fate Of Atlantis" video was filmed in Stockholm, Sweden by Swedish director Owe Lingvall of Dreamday Media (THE RASMUS, KAMELOT's "The Great Pandemonium"). The song comes off LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY's new album, "Ascending To Infinity", which will be released on June 22 via Nuclear Blast. The song was edited and made shorter for the video while on the CD it will appear in its original version of 6 minutes and 29 seconds.
