DRAGONHAMMER released their third full-length album entitled "The X Experiment", on December 2nd via My Kingdom Music. The CD was recorded and mixed by Max Aguzzi at Draconia Studio. The mastering duties were done by Emiliano Ra-b at La Zona Studio.
According to the band, the CD is an explosive mix of power, epic and progressive metal in the real DRAGONHAMMER tradition and style, and is based on a great futuristic concept, a modern fantastic story set in a post-nuclear world where chaos reigns and humanity does not believe in anything.
"The X Experiment" will feature special guest appearances by Francesco Fareri (JEFF LOOMIS, VITALIJ KUPRIJ, VIRTUAL MIND) with a phenomenal solo; the great singers Roberto Tiranti (LABYRINTH, A.P.D., MANGALA VALLIS, KEN HENSLEY’S LIVE FIRE) and Titta Tani (ASHENT, PHOENIX RISING, TAKAYOSHI OHMURA, ex-DGM, drummer for GOBLIN and ex-NECROPHAGIA) involved in two different songs, creating spectacular vocal duets with the singer Max Aguzzi; the talented drummer David Folchitto (STORMLORD, SCREAMING BANSHEE, PROPHILAX) who has recorded the drums for the whole album.
