AMBERIAN DAWN released their sixth full-length album entitled "Magic Forest", on June 27th, 2014 in Europe and July 8th, 2014 in North America via Napalm Records. Says AMBERIAN DAWN songwriter Tuomas Seppälä: New album, 'Magic Forest', is AMBERIAN DAWN's first studio album with singer Capri. Now with her I've been able to fullfill some of my early dreams with musical styles and this new style is really big, fresh and naturally flowing. New sound is more keyboard-driven and the vocal lines have some strong influence of 1980s. But since this is AMBERIAN DAWN, there's, of course, also some fast songs included and some really serious guitar and keyboard shredding too. Mr. Jens Johansson of STRATOVARIUS once again contributed some really awesome playing in form of one keyboard solo. Thank you, Jens, you've been supporting us so many years now. This is also first time on AMBERIAN DAWN's history when we had an actual production team put together. "Thank you, Mikko P. Mustonen and Capri, for your awesome support and work. We really have an extraordinary good production team here. "We had so much fun in doing this album and you can really sense and hear the relaxed atmosphere we had on the process.” The official music video for the song "Magic Forest" from AMBERIAN DAWN, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. A YouTube clip containing audio samples of all the tracks that will appear on "Magic Forest", the sixth album from AMBERIAN DAWN, can be seen below.

Helsinki, Finland-based, female-fronted symphonic metallers AMBERIAN DAWN released a compilation album of songs released on its first four albums — "Circus Black" (2012), "End Of Eden" (2010), "The Clouds Of Northland Thunder" (2009) and "River Of Tuoni" (2008) — to showcase new singer Päivi "Capri" Virkkunen after the departure of Heidi Parviainen. The band is aiming for "Re-Evolution" to be out by the late spring in Finland, distributed by KHY Suomen Musiikki. There are also plans for digital distribution at the same time. "Re-Evolution" will be released on June 17th, 2013.
Comments AMBERIAN DAWN guitarist Tuomas Seppala: "We all thought that the best way to introduce our new singer Capri to our fans is by re-recording a compilation album of our best songs. It was very important for us to give you all a broad overview about Capri's great talent in all its facets and present her vocal sound and way of singing to you before we start recording a whole new studio album. We hope very much that you like the fresh sound created through Capri's voice and the re-recording of the music parts which was necessary due to some required key changes. I believe that this compilation album is an excellent 'visiting card' of the new AMBERIAN DAWN sound and style, all in all we all are really happy with the results we achieved.”
"Re-Evolution" was mixed by Mikko Mustonen and mastered by Henkka Niemisto at Chartmakers.
A music video for the song "Kokko - Eagle Of Fire", can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. The video was produced by Routafilmi, which is the same company that made the AMBERIAN DAWN's "Arctica" video.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Finnish female-fronted symphonic metallers AMBERIAN DAWN released their fourth full-length album entitled "Circus Black", on February 29th, 2012 via Spinefarm Records / Universal Music Group. The band's mainman, keyboardist and guitarist Tuomas Seppälä composed all ten songs for the CD and vocalist Heidi Parviainen penned the lyrics.
"Circus Black" features guest appearances by Timo Kotipelto (STRATOVARIUS) and Jens Johansson (STRATOVARIUS, DIO, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN'S RISING FORCE). Kotipelto sings lead vocal parts on "Cold Kiss" and Johansson plays a keyboard solo on "Crimson Flower".
Commented Tuomas: "'Circus Black' is the most impressive AMBERIAN DAWN album so far. Musically it represents the most sophisticated and most symphonic edge of AMBERIAN DAWN music. There's more diversity on this album than never before. This is the first time we used a real choir and we gathered some really excellent professional opera singers together to be able to achieve the best-sounding choir possible. This choir was conducted by Mikko P. Mustonen from Pathos Music. He also arranged the choir and orchestral parts.
"We managed once again to get some world-class guests on this album. So, the production is our biggest so far and the final polish on this album was given by Teropekka Virtanen (mixing engineer) and Mika Jussila (mastering engineer) at legendary Finnvox Studios in Finland.
"The whole band did excellent job with recordings. It was really awesome, that Kasperi [Heikkinen] recovered from his hand injury just in time (only a couple of weeks before the mixing sessions started) and he was able to play guitar solos on this album. Even in the fall it seemed that I and Kimmo [Korhonen] would have to play all guitar parts by ourselves."
