Chicago symphonic prog-metal band DIVINITY COMPROMISED released their long-awaited debut full-length album entitled "A World Torn", on March 19th, 2013. The effort is available in CD and MP3 format, and can be purchased through CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon MP3 and of course, directly from the band.

Featuring in its ranks Lothar Keller (SACRED DAWN, THE SKULL) and Vito Marchese (NOVEMBERS DOOM), DIVINITY COMPROMISED began in 2009 and spent most of the next year honing their style. Their live debut came with a series of successful shows at prominent Chicago venues such as the legendary Metro.

With influences ranging from NEVERMORE and DREAM THEATER to QUEENSRŸCHE and EVERGREY, "A World Torn" boasts beautifully orchestrated soundscapes, shredding guitars, and exquisite musicianship. Many of the album's themes focus on mankind's fascination with religion, destruction, and its own future as the world continues to crumble around us. Every spin of "A World Torn" promises to take the listener on a sonic voyage that will not soon be forgotten.
