AYREON, the brainchild of Dutch guitarist Arjen Lucassen (ex-BODINE, VENGEANCE), released its long-awaited nineth full-length album entitled "The Theory Of Everything", on October 25th via InsideOut Music. The artwork was once again created by Belgian artist Jef Bertels, who has an incredible and distinct fantasy/sci-fi style.
"The Theory Of Everything" features a stellar cast of guests, with members past and present of NIGHTWISH, LACUNA COIL, KAMELOT, GENESIS, YES, ELP, ASIA, TOEHIDER, GRAND MAGUS and ANCIENT BARDS.
Lucassen previously stated about the new AYREON effort: "I'm really excited about the lineup and how everything is PROGressing so far. There is physics involved, but mainly it's about human relationships and the emotional costs that come with treading the fine line between genius and madness."
For the record: lyrically Arjen left the old AYREON universe behind and he created a new one from scratch.
