Austrian symphonic metallers VISIONS OF ATLANTIS released their fifth full-length album entitled "Ethera", on March 22nd via Napalm Records. The CD was produced and mixed by Frank Pitters and Jakob Grabmayr at the Wildonemusic Studios. The mastering duties were handled by Mika Jussila at Finnvox in Helsinki, Finland. 

Regarding the new album title, VISIONS OF ATLANTIS said, "'Ethera' is a word mix out of 'ether' as the quintessence of this band, the energy between the five band members, the fifth album and 'era', leading VISIONS OF ATLANTIS to some new and interesting musical and lyrical shores while still remaining typically VISIONS OF ATLANTIS!"

MAEGI, the power-progressive metal project of Oganalp Canatan (DREAMTONE, NEVERLAND), released its debut album entitled "Skies Fall", on February 28th via Kardanadam Medya. The CD features guest appearances by Hansi Kürsch (BLIND GUARDIAN), Chris Boltendahl (GRAVE DIGGER), Tim "Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, DIO DISCIPLES), Zak Stevens (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, CIRCLE II CIRCLE) and Jerry Outlaw (JON OLIVA'S PAIN), among others.

After working with DREAMTONE and NEVERLAND for about a decade, Canatan decided to move on with his solo ideas, forming MAEGI. 

"Skies Fall" was recorded, engineered, mixed and produced by Canatan. The artwork was created by Yigit Koroglu. The booklet and layout design were handled by Canatan and Ali Yücel Ozdemir.

"Skies Fall" is available as a regular CD edition and a collector's edition featuring extra goodies and a story inspired by the "Skies Fall" theme, approximately 40,000 words in length. The story is being written by Prarabdh Thakur.

German power metallers CRYSTALLION released their fourth full-length album entitled "Killer", on March 1st, 2013. Two songs from CRYSTALLION, can be streamed in the YouTube clips below.

CRYSTALLION's third album "Hundred Days", was released in October 2009 via Dockyard 1. The CD is said to be "a concept album about the return of Napoleon (after his first exile) until his complete defeat in the battle of Waterloo."

CRYSTALLION's second album "Hattin", was released in the U.S. on August 12, 2008 via Dockyard 1/Locomotive. The CD was issued in Europe on May 16th, 2008. 

CRYSTALLION's first CD "A Dark Enchanted Crystal Night", came out in 2006 and was well received by fans and media. Germany's Rock Hard magazine gave it 8/10 points and stated: "From songs to production to the cover, everything fits here. A very well-done debut for a young and promising band!" 

CRYSTALLION's bombastic metal is said to be influenced by RHAPSODY, STRATOVARIUS, HELLOWEEN andSONATA ARCTICA. Their most significant asset is singer Thomas Strübler's multi-octave range, which separates the band from their counterparts.
